In the fiercely competitive realm of video games, it's common for emerging rivals to disappear as rapidly as they explode onto the landscape.
But this new installment is hoping to change that.
Here comes the newest release in a long-running warfare game line frequently positioned as a more realistic answer to the CoD series.
This game has seldom managed to match its most famous opponent in aspects of units sold or user base, but evidence points to the recent entry could close the gap.
A trial session giving players a chance to try out the game not long ago broke records, and the hype approaching its debut has been immense.
However the endeavor is nonetheless a significant risk for company Electronic Arts, which has reportedly allocated vast amounts of funds making it.

Four teams were working on the title under the Battlefield Studios umbrella.
